Hybrid VTOL fixed-wing UAV

The TIM-D55 hybrid VTOL fixed-wing UAV adopts a design that integrates four-rotor vertical takeoff and landing with a gasoline-powered tail pusher for level flight, combining the flexibility of VTOL with the long endurance and high-speed flight advantages of fixed-wing aircraft. The airframe is manufactured using a carbon fiber integral molding process, offering high strength and light weight. With a maximum payload of 45 kg (including fuel), it achieves an endurance of over 300 minutes under a 25 kg load, and a maximum range exceeding 1,000 km under a light load of 1.2 kg. Its optimized aerodynamic configuration and ample payload space support the integration of diverse mission equipment, making it suitable for large‑area mapping, long‑range reconnaissance, emergency supply delivery, and other long‑endurance, large‑scale operation scenarios.

Hybrid power, longer endurance

Fuel tank capacity: 24L. Endurance with a 25kg payload: over 300 minutes. Maximum range with a 1.2kg payload: over 1,000 km. It can be widely used in mapping, reconnaissance, test and validation, emergency rescue, cargo transportation, and other applications.

Vertical takeoff and landing, no runway required.

It combines the advantages of fixed-wing UAVs — long endurance, high speed, and long range — with the advantages of rotor UAVs, namely vertical takeoff and landing without the need for a runway.

Smart design, higher payload

The rear-mounted engine and twin-boom inverted V-tail configuration ensure cleaner airflow over the tail. The avionics system is installed inside the center section of the wing, creating a dedicated payload bay (350×200×130mm) that allows carrying more payload, with a maximum payload of up to 45 kg.
